"ARF will accept the third mandate, we will discuss it at a meeting of the parliamentary group and the structures and we will come up with a decision."
This was stated by Hairy Sadak, Chairman of the ARF Parliamentary Group - the representatives of Ahmed Dogan, after President Rumen Radev announced his decision to hand them the third exploratory mandate.
The Members of Parliament have seven days to make a decision. Afterwards, they must appear before the President with a candidate for Prime Minister or return the mandate as unfulfilled.
He expressed his gratitude to the President for this position, stating "We accept this as an evaluation of our consistent efforts to uphold the principles of democracy, statehood, institutional unity and the strength of the state. And we have seen that it has been appreciated," said Sadak.
The parliamentary group of the party of Ahmed Dogan consists of 15 MPs and is one of the smaller ones in the National Assembly.
The first two mandates - of GERB-UDF and of CC-DB, were immediately returned unfulfilled.
