ODE TO STUPIDITY

 They dangle the measly 20 euros for gas in front of the people - and off they go to Kiev, where they are ready to even take off their pants. This has always been the easiest exercise for them. They believe that by doing this, they will prove their loyalty to the Masters, who, however, no longer pay them any attention because they have long understood what kind of merchandise they are.

 We are witnessing the outbreak of obvious political idiocy - some of our "leaders" have decided that our loyalty to the Euro-Atlantic cause is measured by our generosity - towards Ukraine, of all things.

 In recent days, hastily and in complete illegality, the caretaker prime minister Gyurov signed an Agreement with Ukraine that has more than dubious legal value. However, Gyurov, probably encouraged by doubts about the legality of his own choice as a prime minister, did not hesitate to put his signature.

 Everything can be expected now: tomorrow we may witness the signing of another agreement, generously transferring the right of using Bulgarian children in recruiting age to Ukrainians - to do with them whatever they want.

 And with this apathy that has taken over us, we will wait for the day when someone will try to gain possession over our own people. But he seems as if permanently anesthetized and nothing can make him come to his senses.

 In all this chaos, from time to time someone mentions the need for a "strong hand" to lead us down the right path. But the wind - no one has any inclination towards it, least of all the people.

 He seems to enjoy the dictatorship of the weak head, to put it straight - of the weakness that reigns almost everywhere. We can now even be proud that we are subjects of reckless, increasingly foolish individuals, who have no qualms about being brutally ruthless and impudent.

 You violate the Constitution - you become prime minister, Kircho blatantly spat on it and opened the door wide for the shameful raids of other shameless people. Now the same is being talked about Gyuorov, who has also spat against the presidency.

 And these things will continue to happen until they are finally accepted as normal. The new heroes will reconcile only when everyone starts to resemble them, when everyone starts to baptize in their church. The people undoubtedly have an insatiable appetite to swallow these things. It is terrifying, this wild patience of theirs.

 Why not just say it straight: Bulgaria cannot function without oversight and an Overseer - and it will likely peep from the East, don't immediately think of the Russians, we and the Chinese are ready to step in, as long as we finally get rid of the damn question of what to do with ourselves.

 We are of no interest to the West, they are aware that if we are left alone, we will definitely fail - and then they will join in the marketplace. It has happened before, the last time Churchill threw us to Russia, which poured in here like a bottomless abyss - and in the end the West took us back.

 We have never had true visionaries, now even less so - and it's cheeky to seek prophecy in some garbage, self-proclaimed as "first". Do you consider the pervert Ferdinand a "visionary"? He is praised by people with deep peasant complexes.

 A deviation. It was somewhere in the late 60s - I went to Budapest with two friends to watch a match of our national football team, we were traveling in a "Moskvich", which one of them had won in a lottery. We arrived in Buda just in time for the start of the match. Unfortunately, our team lost and we immediately decided to return home. However, soon the driver lost control and refused to continue.

 We found ourselves in a desolate area, seemingly endless. After a while, we continued on until we saw the lights of a small village ahead. We dared to knock on a window and a man appeared. Since it was clear that we couldn't communicate with him in his incomprehensible Hungarian, he invited us into his house, showed us the guest room, took our remaining forints and disappeared. And we spent the night in stories - when will we catch up with a nation that has always slept with fluffy blankets, like the ones we naturally had in the guest room.

 Since then, every time someone brags, I remember the fluffy blanket in the midst of that desolation - and for our prisoners, bundled up in rags with their animals. And I also think of our rich people - and both, and the other still cry for supervision.

 The poor - to wake up somehow, for whatever it may be. And the successful rich people, so as not to make their next wrong choice - no one, however, has managed to reason with them, this continues even now and will continue as long as we exist. You take a bureaucrat and make him prime minister - temporary, but prime minister and he, instead of saying "Thank you", publicly mocks them.

 President Iliana Yotova was not aware that the serving prime minister, chosen and appointed by her, would go to Kiev together with a team of ministers. Is this a state of affairs - and when will it grow into fluffy blankets, or in other words - when will it come out of its ladylike phase?

 The saying is well-known: "The boy may leave the Bronx, but the Bronx never leaves him."

 In Boyana, there are properties worth billions of dollars - and everyone, with few exceptions, throws their dirt into septic tanks. And no one seems to be bothered by it. Rich people with respect from the garbage. As one writer said, some people have an irresistible impulse to harm themselves - as if it was said specifically for us.

 Our patience with idiots proves it - and it is now ingrained. We still haven't learned what can harm us in order to avoid it, at least that - and we continue to harm ourselves.

 There is one question that none of our politicians can answer - in fact, they don't even suspect that it could be asked, here it is: "Do you know what the Bulgarian people believe in?" And the people, it seems, have not yet realized that they have the right to be disappointed - Radoy had a book with such a title - or are simply afraid to resort to it.

 And if they do it secretly, they will be poisoned, if it hasn't already happened. Now the politicians are urging the people to be more active in these elections - but they don't tell them why they should do it, which poison will save them this way. Their worst crime is that they don't know what to do with/for the people, their imagination only goes up to the 20 euros we mentioned earlier. And for so many years no one dares to admit this. Miserable.

 Ask, for example, the fools who are running after foreign backsides, do they even know how not to do politics?

 Or do they enjoy looking exactly like blind mice? And have they understood and defended at least one truth for the People? It seems that the time is not far when we will look like an unstable country - but no one is afraid of it.
