Kiril Petkov has waived his immunity as a member of parliament in the records of the 51st National Assembly. This was announced by the parliament's press center, reported by BTA.
Yesterday, acting prosecutor general Borislav Sarafov requested the immunity of the co-chair of "We Continue the Change" Kiril Petkov. The request was made at the proposal of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office (SCP) in connection with an ongoing investigation, the prosecution announced. In a post on social media, Kiril Petkov stated that he will waive his immunity today.
