The Parliament to hear from the Minister of Finance Georgi Klisurski about the current financial state of the country. This is provided in the draft program for the first two regular plenary sessions of the 52nd National Assembly, reported BTA.
The proposal for the hearing was submitted by the chairman of the parliamentary group of "Progressive Bulgaria" Petar Vitanov. It includes providing information on the availability of funds, possibilities for payments of current and capital expenditures in the medium term, the size of the deficit and the domestic and foreign debt, the risk of delays in payments to municipalities, as well as the risk of delays in payments related to the Recovery and Sustainability Plan and its impact on the country's ability to make payments towards current and capital expenditures. The hearing of the acting finance minister is the third item on the agenda.
Before that, it is planned for the deputies to consider a draft resolution for the release of Katya Paneva from "Democratic Bulgaria" as the secretary of the National Assembly and the election of her colleague Lyuben Ivanov. It is proposed for the representatives of the people to discuss a draft resolution for the establishment of a Temporary Committee on the adoption of Rules for the organization and activities of the 52nd National Assembly.
The first Friday of the month is scheduled for a blitz control at 9:00 am and regular parliamentary control. It is also planned for tomorrow for the deputies to discuss draft resolutions for the establishment of Temporary Committee on budget and finance and Temporary Committee on legal matters.
