Bulgaria needs a real new beginning, but what we are witnessing today is a dangerous precedent - manipulations and deals, power for the sake of power, greed and complete disregard for the interests of the people.
This was stated in a press release by the leader of MRF-NB, Delian Peevski, after it became clear that ARF leader Ahmed Dogan had requested support against ministers and deputy ministers, which was not included in their initial agreement.
"Bulgaria should not be held hostage by the whims and ghosts of the darkest past of the Communist Party, who have been manipulating and controlling their electorate for 35 years, and I guarantee that I will always be the wall that these people will crash into, who are only chasing their personal desires for power and money."
"Those who have already sabotaged Rosen Zhelyazkov's Euro-Atlantic cabinet because they did not see personal profit, now want to parasitize on the back of the largest political force - GERB, and with blackmail and extortion, grab once again at the expense of the people," emphasized Delyan Peevski.
If this is the model of the much-needed regular government, we from MRF-NB insist that this parliament urgently adopt the State Budget Law and all important laws for the people and businesses, and responsibly go to parliamentary elections, because only through democratic elections Bulgaria has a chance to get a definite majority with a clear mandate for a regular government."
