Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni in Liège.
The two discussed topics related to reducing bureaucracy and improving energy security through stabilizing electricity prices, improving network connectivity, and optimizing the emissions trading system.
Zhelyazkov and Meloni agreed that the European Council must set clear goals with deadlines, so that by March a roadmap can be drafted with short-term measures to increase the competitiveness of the EU, ensure the effective functioning of the internal market, and expand access for European production to global markets.
