On May 5, the head of state held consultations with the parliamentary represented forces before starting the procedure.
We remind that during the talks, several topics were identified, which the political forces considered to be particularly important and top priorities - the budget, judicial reform, and payments under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan.
It was generally agreed that it is necessary to start with a budget for only half a year, which would break the inflation spiral and help the most vulnerable and socially weak, said the head of state at the time.
According to the Constitution, the President, after consulting with the parliamentary groups, appoints a candidate proposed by the largest parliamentary group to form a government.
"Progressive Bulgaria", who have 131 deputies, have already stated that they will return their exploratory mandate.
As a result, the names of the new ministers in the cabinet with Prime Minister Rumen Radev are expected to be announced today, and tomorrow the government will be voted in the National Assembly and take an oath.
