"After this statement by Natalia Kiselova, I feel disgusted, because after the mistake made by the chairman - who half-heartedly suggested a solution for the current parliamentary crisis, which she created," said RADOSTIN VASILEV, leader of MUH.
"I will accept any decisions that will reinstate the PG of MUH, because it was unlawfully disbanded in order to silence us. With half-mouth, the Chairman of the National Assembly proposed options for Prof. Kiselova to not be afraid for herself, but for her career," he continued.
The parliamentary group was dissolved on Friday due to insufficient number of deputies.
In Tuesday, TISP announced that it is submitting a proposal to reinstate the PG of MUH, which GERB-UDF supported.
"Tomorrow, if the PG of MUH is reinstated with all the privileges that come with it, we will not obstruct the holding of plenary sessions." Thank you to everyone who defended justice. There will be a protest tomorrow against the thugs in government. "Nothing has changed for me, I am fighting for the truth," explained Vasilev.
According to the Chairman of the National Assembly, Prof. Kiselova, there are two legitimate options to resolve the situation - a change in Chapter 4 regarding parliamentary groups in the Rules of Organization and Activity of the National Assembly, or the adoption of a specific decision to regulate the legal consequences of the Constitutional Court's decision.
We remind that the group's dissolution was due to the Constitutional Court's decision, which reduced the number of MP's from MUH from 12 to 11. They lost three representatives, and two new ones were supposed to be sworn in. One of them - Ivan Ivanov, has not yet taken the oath, although the decision for him was made last week. The other - Samuil Slavov, took the oath and then resigned.
MUH leader Radostin Vassilev was released early from his position as Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly. In addition, all members of the previous MUH group have suspended their participation in committees. In his place, Plamen Petkov was supposed to enter. His election was announced in the "State Gazette", but he failed to take the oath due to the lack of a plenary session. This left only nine MUH deputies. According to the rules of organization and functioning of the parliament, the minimum number of MPs to form a parliamentary group is ten.
"BSP-United Left" and GERB-UDF expressed their support for Prof. Kiselova, stating that she acted according to the rules. And Radostin Vassilev announced that he will inform the prosecutor's office. The muh party received support from "Revival", CC-DB and TISP. Expect details at the next press conference.
