“Do not feed brother to brother, but it is heavy for him who has none
!” We, Bulgarians, will never overcome Macedonia, at least because our ancestors have given their lives for our brothers in this tormented land. In our recent history, we have gone through many ups and downs in our relationship, sharp words have been spoken, but this does not change the fact that the people in Macedonia are our brothers. Neither more, nor less. Brothers. The calamity and the tragic victims who perished in this huge tragedy in the last days have once again sparked a wave of sympathy within the present borders of the Homeland. Today, in Bulgaria, a day of mourning has been declared in memory of the fallen. "As thousands of other Bulgarians, I went to donate blood, as doctors are fighting for the lives of those injured, and there is a constant need for blood transfusions. At 12:00, I was at "Pirogov" to donate blood, but there were many people and I was redirected to the Military Medical Academy . There, they said they couldn't accept any more donors and redirected me to the National Center for Transfusion Hematology. There were at least a hundred of us and we all patiently waited in line to donate blood for our injured brothers from Macedonia," shared Tsoncho Ganev in a post on the social media platform Facebook, accompanied by a photo.
