Bulgaria has the necessary potential to increase its competitiveness in the automotive industry by expanding its contribution to the sector.
This was highlighted by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, with whom they spoke during the informal meeting of EU leaders in Liege, Belgium. Our country has the capacity to transform from a component manufacturer to a creator of high-tech developments.
Zhelyazkov noted that Bulgaria is open to investments in high-tech manufacturing and services with medium and high added value, such as automotive industry, electronics, IT and outsourcing, thanks to its potential in computer science and artificial intelligence.
